This subscription entitles you to up to 2 hours a month network security consultation as well as a small computer, laptop, or System-On-Chip board (determined by availability & subscription by CyderInc ) that listens for hackers attacking your network. The device will alert to a network incursion and send information to CyderInc. A cyber-security consultant will then review the attack information and notify the subscriber about the attack ( by email, text, or phone call as determined by CyderInc and you ) and assist in remediation if possible.

2) CyderInc will double-check a device and mail it USPS Priority Certified mail and email you the shipping information. The device will come with instructions on how to set it up and attach it to your network ( 2 plugs!)
3) After install, CyderInc experts will monitor the status of the device, connect to it for updates, and notify you (by email, text or phone call) when an attack has been detected, as shows on the screen.
4) A CyderInc consultant assigned to your incursion will assist you in remediating (removing & defending against) the attack and assist you in preventing similar attacks.

LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT TERMS:
If you become a cyber security expert, trained in cyber attacks and remediation ( or you just feel like living dangerously ), you can cancel the subscription anytime by simply returning the NIDS device to CyderInc. Billing will cease when the device is received by CyderInc. Return using a certified mailing method to ensure delivery.
This contract is a legal agreement beginning at purchase and lasting until the NIDS is returned to Cyber Defense & Research, Inc.
The CyderInc Network Intrusion Detection Sensor remains the property of CyderInc. The NIDS device allows the subscriber and CyderInc to view malevolent software or hackers attempting to spread on and gain access to the subscribers network and devices.
User is responsible for setup and continual safe operation of the device. Air conditioned rooms are required. CyderInc is not responsible for any unforeseeable physical damage from the device.
User is responsible for physical damage to the device and damage to the software IF tampered with, according to system logs.
TO SET UP THE DEVICE, YOU MUST PLUG IT INTO POWER AND YOUR ROUTER (OR SWITCH).
The devices must be returned in order to cancel subscription. If the device is not returned, a replacement fee will be charged as determined by the length your subscription has been active and the estimated remaining life of the device (up to 2 years for EoL).
The devices may vary by availability, models, versions & updates.
The subscriber claims, believes and must have the legal authority to place devices on their network and consents to CyderInc experts accessing the device remotely for updates, monitoring, troubleshooting, and attack remediation. Subscriber guarantees this device will be legally placed, in their owned network. Subscriber also understands that data from the detection device is hourly sent to CyderInc to ensure the correct operation of the device and monitor for attacks. This will be included in a monthly data cap, if one is imposed by subscriber's ISP. If the subscriber has a pay per usage plan with their ISP, it is the subscriber's responsibility to monitor usage and alert CyderInc if subscriber would like reduced data flow to the CyderCloud from the NIDS device. Bandwidth used by the CyderInc NIDS depends on the number of attacks/incursions and the type of attacks. Normal update transfers are only several MiB.
Subscriber agrees to being contacted by CyderInc, by phone, email or text, in regards to this service. Subscriber acknowledges that they should regularly check the device screen for function and alerts. CyderInc Consultants will attempt to contact you within 24 hours of an alert registering on the CyderCloud, but the subscriber recognizes this shared responsibility.
CyderInc will only contact the user in case of an attack, or in case the NIDS is not functioning correctly and needs replaced, restarted,, and/or checked. Personal data is never sold. The network data sent to CyderInc (Cyder-Cloud) contains only network information (with NIDS information), and does not contain personal information. You can view the logs to see what data is monitored and uploaded.
CyderInc Consultants are available by phone during certain business hours. Subscriber realizes that CyderInc may use computerized means to alert the customer in case of an incursion.
Subscriber agrees to a legally binding contract limiting liability of CyderInc to no more than the amount already paid for a single month's subscription. Malfunctioning NIDS devices may be replaced or repaired at the discretion of CyderInc.
THIS DEVICE DOES NOT PREVENT CYBER-ATTACKS TO YOUR DEVICES OR NETWORK, BUT LISTENS FOR ATTACKS AND ATTEMPTS TO TRACE THE ORIGIN SO IT CAN ISSUE AN ALERT AND STOP THE ATTACK.
Subscriber agrees that CyderInc is not responsible for any cyber attacks or data exfiltration of their networks. If a service is discontinued, you are entitled to a refund of the remaining balance for the time period purchased.
The subscriber is entitled to (up to ) 2 hours per month of cyber-security consulting related to their home network, or the network where the CyderInc NIDS is placed. If a subscription is cancelled, the hours are also cancelled and do not remain past an active subscritption. Hours do not accrue but CyderInc Consultants are generous.
Purchasing a subscription is explicit agreement to the entirety of terms.
